What do I need to bring with me when I come in for a bridal consultation?
You should wear what undergarments you may wear under your dress. Light colored underwear work best, and a light colored strapless bra is helpful but not necessary. Keep in mind, the consultant will be in the fitting room with you to help you put dresses on.
How many people can I bring with me to my bridal appointment?
We suggest a group of 2-4 people. We have found that keeping your group smaller can be more comfortable and help make the experience better for the bride. We are a smaller salon, so space is limited.
What is the price range of your dresses?
We have simple styles that can be in the $300-$500 range. The Majority of our formal gowns are in the $1000-$1700 range. Most of our sample gowns are sizes 8-14, but we do have some sample gowns in smaller and larger sizes as well. We have clips available that we can put on dresses that are not the right size. We have a very nice selection of plus size gowns. We pride ourselves in having a gown for every body type and we work hard to make each bride find a gown that flatters her body.
How long do your special order dresses take to come in?
Most of our gowns take 4-6 months to arrive. Some of our designers offer rush orders for an additional charge, and sometimes the designer has dresses in stock that can be shipped and received within a few weeks. We can almost always find a way to help you get your dream dress, even if your wedding is soon.
Do you sell dresses off the rack if my wedding is right away?
Yes! We always have a very nice selection of dresses that you can purchase off the rack, and some of the designers have hanging stock that can be shipped out right away.

It is never too soon to begin your search. Some brides start the day after their engagement. Usually, it is best to start looking 10-12 months prior to your date. This allows you enough time to narrow down your selection and order the gown with plenty of time for alterations or any delays. If you start shopping really early, be prepared to buy or order a dress when you find one you love. Wedding dress availability can change, so if you see a dress you love and come back later it be no longer be available.
Do you provide alterations?
We have an excellent seamstress who has been providing our brides with expert alterations for over 25 years. She does a great job, and she is very reasonably priced. However, you are welcome to use a seamstress of your choice as well.
